The low friction strap attaches the sail to the boom with hook and loop fastening through a stainless D ring with a safety hook and loop fastening to lock it in, there is a low friction high wear liner that sits against the boom. You can get the sail as close to the boom as possible giving you more head room. We recommend combining it with an XT2005 clew hook and block for easy rigging.
